In addition, customers can select between cage or ring terminals and can chose from a wide range of accessories. D-type characteristics guarantee a short circuit cut-off response of 10 → 20 with normal nominal current. Suited for use in circuits that normally produce extremely high surge currents, such as transformers and capacitor batteries.
