ATO contact capacitance level sensor is a contact-type device specially designed for industrial liquid monitoring. It is mainly suitable for high/low viscosity, low-corrosivity media such as glue, lubricating oil, and ink, and can handle various working conditions without frequent replacement. Contact liquid level sensor supports 12-24VDC wide-voltage power supply, and its sensitivity can be flexibly adjusted through a multi-turn potentiometer. With a 20ms fast response and 50Hz switching frequency, it can capture liquid level changes in real-time. The shell of the probe level sensor is made of 316L stainless steel, and the probe is made of PEEK material, with an IP65 protection rating, enabling it to operate stably in an environment of -25℃~70℃. It comes with a 4-core 2-meter PVC lead, allowing for easy installation. Meanwhile, capative level sensor has built-in reverse connection protection and overcurrent protection functions, which reduce the risk of equipment failure and take both practicality and safety into account.

4 Steps to Adjust Sensitivity of Capacitance Probe Level Sensor

ATO probe level sensor supports a rotary potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment. When the sensitivity is turned down, it is suitable for high-viscosity liquids such as glue and grease; when the sensitivity is turned up, it is suitable for low-viscosity liquids such as water or oil. The following 4 steps can help you quickly adjust the sensitivity:

1. Connect the sensor to the power supply. The red power indicator light will turn on. Pay attention to the status of the green signal output indicator light.

2. Operate when there is no liquid contact. If the light is not on, no operation is needed; if the light is on, rotate the knob counterclockwise until the light goes off, and then you can rotate it a few more turns.

3. Immerse the probe in the liquid. At first, put the probe into the liquid to be detected: If the indicator light is not on, proceed directly to the next step; if the light is on, rotate the knob counterclockwise until the light goes off.

4. Put the probe into the liquid again for final calibration. Slowly adjust the knob clockwise until the indicator light turns on, then stop immediately. The sensitivity adjustment is completed.
