*Channel Form Characteristics

L channel: low heat transfer coefficient, low resistance, suitable for large flow rate and weak heat transfer (low specific heat or small temperature difference), such as air heat transfer under ambient pressure.

H channel: high heat transfer coefficient, high resistance, suitable for small flow rate and strong heat transfer (high specific heat, with phase change or large temperature difference), such as refrigerant phase change heat transfer.

M channel: heat transfer coefficient and resistance are between H channel and L channel.

Tips: Structure of the brazed plate heat exchanger.

  • Brazed plate heat exchanger consists of a group of plates (the adjacent plates form an angle of 180 ° with each other) superpose in order, form a plate package with channel form.
  • Both ends of the heat exchanger are respectively provided with a sealing plate with pipe.
  • The whole plate heat exchanger is made by vacuum brazing.
  • Adjacent channels respectively flow two medium.
  • Plates between adjacent channels are pressed into corrugated pattern to strengthen heat exchange between the two medium.
  • In refrigeration BPHE, water channel is always one more than refrigerant channel.
