Application
Tips: What should we pay attention to when selecting incremental rotary encoders?
- The installation dimensions of the machine, including the positioning port, shaft diameter and mounting holes, cable outlet form, installation space volume, working environment protection class.
- Resolution, that is, the number of output pulses in each turn when the encoder works. Whether they meet the design accuracy requirements.
- Electrical interface: Encoder output modes are commonly found as push-pull output, voltage output, open-collector output (NPN output, PNP output), line driver output. Its output mode should match the interface circuitry of its control system.
