Description
TRUEGARD 905 is an NSF Certified, food-grade inhibited propylene glycol fluid with water which is intended for use in antifreeze and heat transfer applications where contact with food may occur.
TRUEGARD 905 is formulated with propylene glycol, an inhibitor system and water which is effective at preventing corrosion in aluminum, brass, cast iron, copper, solder and steel containing systems.
Suggested Applications:
- Defrosting mist in tunnel freezing coil applications
- Web cooling in processed cheese applications
- Heat transfer in brewery fermentation, yeast and storage tanks
- Closed loop heat/cooling applications such as ice rinks, solar, geothermal and fire protection systems
- IQF systems where instantaneous freezing of a food product is desired by spray or immersion techniques
